Erik Ordahl

Associate General Counsel

Erik serves as Associate General Counsel at Hempel Real Estate, bringing a well-rounded legal background with a focus on real estate and corporate transactions. Erik graduated from Augsburg College with a Bachelor of Arts in History and minors in Business Administration and Marketing, followed by earning his J.D., cum laude, from Mitchell Hamline School of Law.

Before joining Hempel, Erik practiced at a mid-sized firm in the Twin Cities, representing a diverse range of clients including institutional lenders, corporate entities, landlords, tenants, developers, and private individuals across real estate, corporate, environmental, and finance matters. He also advised municipalities on civil matters, zoning and community development issues, and environmental compliance.

Outside of work, Erik enjoys spending time with his daughter and coaching youth hockey.
