Bill Katter, an industry veteran in the industrial and mixed use development/acquisition areas, is a Principal at Hempel Real Estate.
Bill has acquired and developed over 8 million square feet of industrial projects in the last 15 years, in the Minneapolis, Denver and Austin markets on behalf of United Properties, a firm he led for more than a decade. Bill’s major industrial projects include Plymouth Ponds in Plymouth, MN, Enterprise Business Center in Denver, CO, Buda Midway in Austin, TX and Northcross Business Park in Brooklyn Park, MN.
In addition to industrial and multi-family projects, Bill has developed a substantial number of office and mixed use projects including the award winning RBC Gateway tower in downtown Minneapolis. While at United Properties, Bill led the firm to Top Developer status in Minneapolis for 7 years, and was widely recognized as the leading developer in the Twin Cities, while launching the firm to broad success in the Denver and Austin markets.
