Kristen Anderson
Vice President of Design and Construction
Kristen Anderson joined Hempel in 2019 and oversees design and construction activities as they pertain to development, capital, and tenant improvement projects throughout Hempel’s office, retail, industrial, hospitality, and multi-family portfolio. Prior to joining Hempel, Kristen was a Project Manager and Historic Preservation Specialist for a Minnesota architecture, engineering, and interiors firm working on historic properties throughout Minnesota and the greater Midwest.
Kristen has a Master’s from Pratt Institute in Historic Preservation with a minor in Facilities Management and a Bachelor’s from the University of Minnesota in Business and Marketing Education, Mass Communication, with a Minor in Design. She is a Board Member of Rethos, Places Reimagined serving terms of Vice President, President, and Past President and is a Board Member of the Minneapolis Renaissance Coalition currently serving as President. In 2025, Kristen was an honoree of The Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal’s Top Women in Business.
