Shawnna Figgins serves as Senior Design and Construction Manager at Hempel Real Estate, where she brings more than a decade of commercial interior design and project management experience to the company’s development efforts. She is known for helping clients bring design concepts to life while balancing budgets, timelines, functionality, and aesthetics.
Before joining Hempel, Shawnna spent more than nine years at RSP Architects, where she advanced from Interior Designer to Project Interior Designer and then Interiors Project Manager. In those roles, she led interior design and project delivery efforts across a range of commercial environments, building expertise in collaboration, construction administration, and client-focused design solutions. Earlier in her career, she worked at Eckert Wordell, contributing to projects across corporate, healthcare, office, spa, and specialty facility types.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Western Michigan University, graduating magna cum laude and with honors.
